Parmenion celebrates Retirement Proposition Ratings and Service Success
Integrated platform and DFM provider Parmenion has been recognised by Defaqto, leading independent financial information business, with 5 Star Ratings and Gold Service Ratings for 2018.
In the 2018 Ratings results published by Defaqto, Parmenion, the foremost provider of discretionary powered managed portfolio services, achieved 5 Star Rating for its Discretionary Management Service, Model Portfolio Service, Platform and Drawdown (SIPP) propositions.
These product ratings are researched by industry experts – analysing developments, trends and regulatory changes in the market to understand the most important features and benefits for each financial product area.
David Cartwright, Head of Insight and Consulting for Wealth and Protection at Defaqto said,
“Parmenion was rated consistently highly across the categories in terms of adviser satisfaction in our Platform service review.”
“Despite continued mergers and acquisitions, re-platforming exercises and increasing levels of functionality, many platforms still fall short when it comes to the basic levels of servicing they provide, and have some way to go to match the market leaders.”
“Defaqto’s Service Ratings form part of our range of ratings suite. Products are assigned a Star or Diamond Rating on a scale of 1 to 5. Whilst these ratings are based on facts not opinions, our Service Ratings are. We ask financial advisers to rate the services they receive.”
“The impact Parmenion has on our business is amazing.”
Ken Carson, an Independent Financial Adviser at Continuum commented, “The impact Parmenion has on our business is amazing. Clients love the simplicity of their technology, administrators rave about the support that comes from their service team and as adviser, the flexibility of their SIPP and Drawdown makes providing truly personal recommendations, so much easier. To summarise, they are key to my business, my professional knowledge and help me immensely move on with my business goals.”
In addition to producing respected product ratings, Defaqto also invite advisers to assess the service they receive from their preferred provider partners in a number of product areas, including DFM, Pension and Platform. Once again Parmenion scored highly and achieved leading scores. The strong appraisals of advisers completing the Defaqto Service Rating surveys has resulted in Gold Service Ratings, for 2018, for the Parmenion DFM, Platform and Pension propositions.
“Service is commonly quoted as one of the major reasons why Adviser firms change their platform provider,” said Richard Goodall, Distribution and Marketing Director at Parmenion. “We are therefore delighted that our valued Adviser partners are acknowledging and benefiting from our commitment to giving them a great experience with our integrated proposition, and drive to ensure our Adviser service is second to none.”
Parmenion has recently successfully completed the immediate work to meet the demands of MiFID II and is now helping Adviser firms with a series of guidance pieces on GDPR.
