Outsourcing: Mark Hibbitt of Sovereign IFA

Mark Hibbitt of Sovereign IFA was interviewed by New Model Adviser about his approach to outsourcing investments.

In the interview, he discussed how Parmenion sits at the core of Sovereign’s investment proposition.

‘The key for us is we are not wedded to Parmenion,’ said Mark Hibbitt, director of Bristol-based advice firm Sovereign IFA.

But if Sovereign is not wedded to Parmenion, the relationship is far more than a casual affair. ‘Parmenion sits at the core of our investment proposition,’ said Hibbitt. ‘It is the cornerstone, the initial building block, which we build on top of if necessary.’

All bases covered

Parmenion fulfils its role as Sovereign’s core discretionary fund manager (DFM) through its comprehensive offering. ‘We were attracted by its ability to run active portfolios, passive portfolios, or a blend of active and passive, across all risk profiles,’ Hibbitt said. ‘In addition, it also offers ethical models across all risk profiles.’

‘Parmenion sits at the core of our investment proposition,’ said Hibbitt. ‘It is the cornerstone, the initial building block, which we build on top of if necessary.’

Moreover, Hibbitt said clients are reassured their portfolios are ‘professionally managed on a daily basis’ with Parmenion. The portfolios are also regularly rebalanced to stay in line with clients’ attitudes to risk.
