Parmenion is an independent asset management firm supplying specialised investment management services to Financial Advisers.

Parmenion does not take on private clients directly but supplies investment management services to Financial Advisers wishing to concentrate their professional activities on financial planning whilst outsourcing their client's investment management requirements to a specialist supplier.

Parmenion offers both a platform onto which client assets can be consolidated within straightforward on-shore portfolios, PEPs, ISAs, off-shore and SIPP, and high quality on going investment management.

Parmenion differs from a "wrap" in that we do not offer a facility to trade in underlying funds nor to transfer existing assets on to the platform, instead offering to Advisers an Outsourced discretionary investment management service. Under this arrangement we receive an instruction from the Adviser regarding an investment strategy (based around an allocation of a clients assets in one or more of six asset classes) which we then execute on their (and their clients') behalf.

This service can offer a highly efficient alternative to traditional wrap platforms. An Adviser who wishes to outsource the burden of day to day investment management to focus on core services, can by transferring client assets to Parmenion's platform, vastly reduce his investment obligations whilst retaining control of the client's investment strategy. In particular, it enables a consistent and coherent investment management strategy to be applied to all of a clients' liquid (and semi-liquid) assets which on occasion can offer a better solution than a more product driven approach.
